The Art of Robert Ramirez

The dark, the frightening, and the wondrous-- Throughout myth and folklore, ancient as well as new, there are beings I have always found to have these qualities and loved nothing more than to portray them as I see fit. I draw characters and creatures for movies, television series, plays, and video games that feature mythology and science fiction.

 

Although most of my work is digital, I tend to favor drawing with ink or acrylic paints for my projects. Often times a drawing scanned from my sketchbook becomes my next piece in Photoshop.

 

I am currently discovering what my unique style is and establishing a brand for myself. I am filling my portfolio with person projects that better exemplify my interest in dark fantasy and science fiction. My goal is to show the world what I can really do.
